Project 01

Site area: 650 square meters

In warm and humid climate as in Ho Chi Minh City, getting sufficient airflow is considered as another better strategy than excessive protection a building from solar heat gain. High ceiling that maximises natural ventilation is one of the ways which can cool the building ideally. In this project a living room, therefore, was designed in 2-floor height to provide a cool and comfortable place for all family members gathered together.

Project 02

Site area: 443 square meters

This villa locates in a new urban area. The combination of stones and stone effect paint offer a lighter look for the building's envelope in comparison with an all stone cladding facade.

A master bedroom with a large walk-in closet and bathroom was arranged on the same floor with a daughter and a son's bedrooms. A well-ventilated attic space is located above to protect these rooms from overheating.

Site area: 2250 square meters

This countryside villa is a combination of a rectangular block and a square block with 30-degree deviation.

Ground floor contents a living room and a kitchen with a large dining area, whereas 3 bedrooms are all arranged on the first floor. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and dining area establish a better connection with the garden that surrounds it.

A half in and half out space was designed as an extension of the living room, located to the North. With its 2-floor height, this area provides a perfect place with cool and fresh air for family time, especially during the warm summer period.

Site area: 315 square meters

Located in the city centre, this villa has 3 stories and a shallow basement with a facade that has been elaborated with different types of stone.

A staircase was designed in the middle of the building, dividing it into 2 parts. In this way, deviate floor levels between the front part and the back part were built to create more interesting spaces.

Next to the staircase, a patio with tropical plants was installed, giving the adjacent areas such as living room and bedrooms more natural light and green view.
